About 5 years ago I did some copywriting for a client by the name of Jim Johnson. I always had him in the back of my mind because he has a fantastic service. Life got in the way and we lost contact, until recently.
I contacted him because I know there is way to use his list service to help my clients. But then, before we could get anything going, my daughter decided she wanted to be born almost 8 weeks early (she is doing really well and she’ll be out of the NICU soon). So I had to put it back on the back burner again.
However, in the meantime he signed up for my free lead generation and marketing course.
Side Bar: Jim gets big Kudos for actually taking action on my tips and secrets. Most people just read and forget. Not Jim…
I thought I would give you some feedback what happened after just the second lesson of my first experience through your “8 Amazing Prospecting and Marketing Secrets” Mini course.
As you know, I have a business where I market the commercial loan business customers of banks, to their competition. My business, with all the bank credit issues, had all but dried up… no orders since August… well maybe one little one.
I took your advice and sent the attached letter Mid October-08 to 103 clients who had previously used my services. Since I had a previous relationship I used my company logo instead of just my picture. The buy 1-get-1 free offer in the lower corner was actually printed on a yellow 3×3 post-it-note that I attached to each letter.
To date I have 4 orders (2 weeks). Orders to date =$9,785.00 I am about to resend and extend the offer to the end of the year and sweeten the deal.
Update: I resent my 1 page letter and reactivated Wells Fargo Bank so that alone might add $10,000 over the next year… That’s what they spent with me in 2007.

[...] Before I tell you what I recommend, I want to be straight with you. I am biased. So you should take everything I say with a grain of salt. Second, you should get my free marketing course first. It’s really good. Read this testimonial for reassurance. [...]
